DINA is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and chart-topping singer-songwriter.

Her deep-rooted passion for music dates back to her early years, beginning at the tender age of 5. Honing her musical skills through rigorous classical training in piano and percussion instruments, she is no stranger to the music scene in her home country, Croatia, having won multiple regional and state level competitions at a young age.

She subsequently apprenticed under Bosko Petrovic, a leading vibraphonist in the contemporary jazz scene and pursued her music education further in the prestigious Berklee College of Music on a tuition scholarship, graduating a summa cum laude.

DINA’s diverse education and background is reflected in her compositions which has garnered international recognition. Notably, 2 of her compositions were nominated at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards in Los Angeles in 2022, whose past winners and nominees include renowned artists such as Billie Eilish, Hans Zimmer, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Elton John. She won the “New/Emerging Composer” award for “Imaginarium” which was conducted by famous Croatian conductor Alan Bjelinski and performed by members of the Croatian Music Academy and Croatian Symphony Orchestra.

Refusing to pigeon-hole her artist career into any particular genre, her original songs “Moment”, “Home” and “Shadow in the Night” were nominated in “Jazz Smooth/Cool”, “Folk/Acoustic”, “Latin Pop/Rock” categories at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards in 2023 and 2024.

Back home, DINA releases her work under major record label, Croatia Records whom she signed with since she was 16. Three of her tracks “Tu”, “Pronadi Me”, Ne Drzi Me U Mraku” from her 2023 album release “Iz Sjene” topped the charts as No. 1 Singles on the Croatian national radio.

DINA is also a strong advocate for female representation in the music industry. Alongside her fellow colleague, Lana Janjanin, she released a groundbreaking double album titled “Miracles” in 2019, which was performed by the Croatian Radio-Television Jazz Orchestra.  This venture marked a historic moment in Balkan music, where women composed, arranged, performed, sang, and recorded their opus for a jazz orchestra for the first time in history.

DINA now resides in London, United Kingdom and has released her English electronic EP “Waves” which was picked up by BBC Radio Music Introducing in London featuring her track “XYZ”. She is currently working on a new English album.
